The client wanted to realize a Human Rights Due Diligence in compliance with its internal human rights protection policies, in order to ensure its commitment to the respect of international human rights principles and treaties.

HPC Italia has worked  to provide the appropriate assistance and studies to the Client. Specifically, HPC has provided both desktop and field support by performing the following:
- Baseline Analysis
- Stakeholder mapping and engagement plan
- On field stakeholder engagement

The client has received information gathered within meetings with the rights holders, separated from any sensitive information, through which to evaluate the company's performance when it comes to human rights promotion and respect, as well as to evaluate the company's relationships with local stakeholders. Some improvement actions have also been suggested.
